Where are you from?
I’m from the East Coast of the United States.
Share an interesting fact about yourself.
Art and Music have always been a part of my life. I even have two art degrees! When I’m not streaming or playing video games, I’m likely working on some form of art or writing songs (just don’t ask to hear any songs because I’m weirdly shy about it).
I am also a spoonie. #SpoonieLove.
What is your favourite beverage?
I know this is going to sound boring, but cold water is probably my favorite thing to drink. Unsweetened iced tea is my jam when I’m not drinking water (gotta have my tannins), and cranberry ginger ale is my absolute favorite soda, as it reminds me of very happy times with my family.
How many years have you've been playing Minecraft?
.I started playing Minecraft in September of 2011, which was the tail end of Beta. Sometimes I can’t believe I’ve been playing that long, and other times I can’t believe I haven’t been playing longer. Minecraft is a very special game to me, as it helped me through some very hard periods in my life. I have made so many wonderful friends throughout the years because of Minecraft, and I know Minecraft will continue to bring positivity and joy into my life for many years to come!
What kind of Minecrafter are you?
My first instinct is to say I’m a builder, and while I believe this to be true, I am also equal parts explorer and gatherer. I’m always getting lost in the beauty of the Minecraft worlds I inhabit, which is why it usually takes me so long to settle on a place to build. I also like to have everything I need for my builds at the ready (i.e. tools, resources, wings), so I work hard to obtain those items as quickly as I am able. At the end of the day, I just enjoy being in a Minecraft world, and cherishing the experiences that come with it.
When did you first start streaming?
I started streaming in 2014, though there was a period of about two years where I needed to step back from Twitch, as it was experiencing a period of grief. I returned in June of 2018, and I am so happy I did because I missed it intensely during the “lost years.” As a spoonie, I sometimes need to step back for smaller periods, but streaming is a part of me, so it will always be a part of my life!
What type of video games do you enjoy playing?
I dabble in a lot of games, but I’m the kind of gamer who latches onto the games she loves and plays the heck out of them! Diablo was my jam back in college. I remember some nights, when I had far more spoons than I do now, I would play Diablo long enough to watch the sunrise! Animal Crossing: Wild World was my post college obsession, followed by Minecraft (of course), Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Starbound, Terraria, and finally Animal Crossing: New Horizons! Take all those titles, add a variety of additional Nintendo games, toss in Stardew Valley, sprinkle in some rhythm games, top it off with Proteus, and (BOOM) you’ve got yourself a recipe for a Mopy gamer!
